Sweet Loot features: multiplier row, tumbles & free spins

Everything that happens on the Sweet Loot slot, piece by piece: the pay-anywhere grid, the row of four multiplier positions, tumbles, the gold skull scatter, two kinds of free spins and the Special Bets — with what changes at UK casinos.

A 6×5 grid that pays anywhere

Sweet Loot has six reels and five rows and no paylines. A win needs 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid. Eight or nine of a kind pay between 0.25× and 10× the bet, depending on the symbol, and 12 or more of a kind pay between 2.5× and 100×. There is no wild in this slot, so symbols only ever count for themselves.

The multiplier row

Above reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 runs a separate horizontal row with four positions. Symbols land there as part of the game and can join wins, and each one may carry a random multiplier from ×2 up to ×500.

If one or more symbols with a multiplier are part of a win, the multipliers are added up and the win is multiplied by the total. Two examples:

  • A ×5 and a ×20 in the same win give ×25.
  • A ×2, a ×10 and a ×100 together give ×112.
  • ×2
  • ×10
  • ×100
  • ×500

Tumbles

After every win the winning symbols are removed and new ones drop in to fill the space. As long as the new symbols form another win, the slot keeps tumbling, so a single spin of the Sweet Loot slot can pay several times before it stops.

Sweet Loot symbols

The four premium symbols are the pirate crew — the pirate captain, the parrot, the monkey and the octopus.

The six lower symbols are gummy sweets in the shape of pirate gear: an anchor, a ship’s helm, a hook, a rum bottle, a skull and crossed swords.

Scatter and free spins

The scatter is a gold coin with a skull. It pays in any position, and 4, 5 or 6 of them start the free spins:

During the round, 3 or more scatters add 5 more spins. The key difference from the base game: at least one symbol on the multiplier row carries a multiplier on every free spin.

Super Scatter and Super Free Spins

The Super Scatter is a gold coin wrapped in a red SUPER ribbon, and it can land only on the multiplier row. When it is one of the scatters that triggers the bonus, you get Super Free Spins instead of the regular round.

In Super Free Spins every symbol on the multiplier row carries a multiplier of at least ×10, so all four positions are working on each spin. This is the route Pragmatic Play links to the top prize of 10,000× the bet.

How the multiplier row changes between modes

The same four positions behave differently depending on where you are in the Sweet Loot slot. This is the easiest way to keep the modes apart:

ModeHow it startsMultipliers on the row
Base gameAny paid spinRandom, ×2 to ×500, not on every spin
Free Spins4, 5 or 6 scattersAt least one row symbol on every spin
Super Free SpinsTrigger that includes the Super ScatterEvery row symbol, each at least ×10

In every mode the multipliers only count when their symbols are part of a win, and then they are added together before the win is paid.

Special Bets

Sweet Loot has four Special Bets. You can switch on one at a time, and each makes every spin cost more:

1.25× bet

Ante Bet 1

Your chance of triggering free spins is doubled.

4× bet

Ante Bet 2

Your chance of triggering free spins is seven times higher.

20× bet

Super Spin 1

Every symbol on the multiplier row carries a multiplier.

200× bet

Super Spin 2

Every symbol on the multiplier row gets a multiplier of at least ×50.

Free spins cannot be triggered from a Super Spin. At UK casinos the menu appears only if the casino offers it, and the full cost per spin has to stay within the £5 cap (£2 for ages 18–24).

Buy Feature: not available in Great Britain

Feature buys are not allowed in Great Britain, so the Sweet Loot slot at UK casinos has no Buy Feature menu. You reach the free spins only by landing scatters. For reference, this is what the menu offers in versions sold outside GB, and what you may see in the demo:

Free Spins100× bet200
Super Free Spins500× bet1,000

Some casinos also attach network jackpots to Sweet Loot — up to four, in the base game only. Whether they are there depends on the casino.

Special Bets multiply the cost of every spin: Ante Bet 2 makes each spin four times as expensive, Super Spin 1 twenty times. Your balance runs down much faster, even when free spins come more often. Set your stake for the total cost per spin.
